Institute of Diplomacy, Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces the postgraduate Fellowship
What are the eligibility criteria?
Citizenship
Applicants can hold any citizenship. No citizenship restrictions are imposed on this Fellowship.
Education
Applicants must be enrolled in a PhD program or hold a postdoctoral position.
When can I apply?
The Institute of Diplomacy accepts applications throughout an academic year.
Where I will be based?
Successful applicants will be based at the Institute of Diplomacy where they will be provided a working space including a desk and a computer.
Institutional support and funding
The Institute of Diplomacy provides substantial support during a visa application to enter the Republic of Kazakhstan as a researcher and arranges affiliation of successful applicants to the Institute.
The Institute of Diplomacy cannot offer any Scholarships. Applicants must rely on their own funding. Applicants are encouraged to seek financial support at their home institutions.
The Institute of Diplomacy can negotiate provision of a subsidized accommodation upon individual request.
How long is the Fellowship?
The applicants are encouraged to negotiate the length of the Fellowship in each individual case with the Institute of Diplomacy.
Research topics
The Institute of Diplomacy accepts a wide range of research topics with particular focus on international relations, foreign policy and Eurasian studies.
