On October 24, 2025, a meeting of the National Commission on the Youth Personnel Reserve under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. As a result, a decision was made to admit 50 individuals into the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve.
The selection process ran from June to October of this year. During the document submission phase, 31,859 people registered on the official project website, indicating a high level of interest in the initiative from the country’s young professionals.
A key innovation of this fourth selection round was the formation of the Reserve based on sectoral areas most in demand for the state apparatus. Candidates were admitted according to established quotas:
- Infrastructure development, industry, and trade policy – 8 people
- Agro-industrial complex and environmental protection – 9 people
- Foreign policy and investments – 8 people
- Economic and financial policy – 7 people
- Digitalization – 9 people
- Social policy and civil society – 9 people

For a period of three years after being admitted, reserve members are eligible for appointments to political government roles, administrative positions within Corps “A”, and leadership roles in Corps “B”.
