Know the current geopolitical state of the countries in the region; features of the socio-political
                   structure  and  dynamics  of  political  processes  in  the  Near  and  Middle  East;  know  how  to
                   navigate the economic, environmental, demographic, and migration processes occurring in the
                   East; are able to analyze global and regional security problems in relation to regions; know the
                   key  problems of  modern  international  and  regional  relations  in  the  East; have  the  skills  to
                   analyze socially significant problems and processes.

                   4. Foreign policy of global powers

                   Short course description:
                   The  purpose  of  this  course  is  to  gain  knowledge  about  the  mechanism  of  functioning  of
                   international relations of global powers, to study the civilizational specifics of these countries
                   and foreign policy priorities. The main direction of the course is foreign policy courses, foreign
                   policy priorities of global powers, a comprehensive understanding of the traditional basis and
                   specifics of  political  culture,  conditions and  prospects for  integration  into  the global  space;
                   analysis of the evolution of bilateral and multilateral relations between the largest states of the
                   world.
                   Expected learning outcomes:
                   Have an idea of the main directions of the foreign policy of the leading superpowers, the main
                   factors and the process of formation of the foreign policy of global powers, its key directions.

                   1. China in a changing world order

                   Short course description:
                   The purpose of this course is to gain knowledge about the role of China in the system of modern
                   international relations, study the civilizational specifics of China and foreign policy priorities.
                   Study of the basic principles of the formation and development trends of Chinese foreign policy.
                   Expected learning outcomes:
                   They know the main directions of Chinese foreign policy, have a comprehensive understanding
                   of  the  traditions  and  specifics  of  political  culture,  the  features  of  bilateral  and  multilateral
                   relations between China and the leading countries of the world

                   2. International and regional security

                   Semester                                       3 (Autumn semester)
                   Short course description:
                   The course is aimed at analyzing the nature of international conflicts, their typology, conflict
                   theories and modern approaches to the settlement of international conflicts. Much attention will
                   be  paid  to  determining  the  impact  of  international  conflicts  on  national  and  global  security
                   issues.
                   Expected learning outcomes:
                   They possess tools for comparative analysis of traditional and new threats in the field of global
                   and regional security. They are able to propose and apply modern methods for the analysis
                   and settlement of international conflicts.

                   3. Professional Communications (English)

                   Short course description:
                   Development  of  free  speaking  abilities,  analytical  interpretation  and  commentary  on  the
                   situation, professional and creative language proficiency.
